Christmas Stocking: Seven Days on Catalog Display Products, Fifteen on Custom

FOSHAN, China, November 5, 2026 — Buyers who are still filling Christmas orders for display equipment can have production finished in seven days on anything already listed on tentflags.com, according to Foshan Dasi Metal Technology Co., Ltd., the company behind the Earth Display brand. Custom orders run fifteen days.

Both figures are production time. They start when the order and the artwork are confirmed and stop when the goods leave the factory. Freight is quoted separately for each shipment.

The week between the two numbers is mostly artwork. Standard items are cut to fixed specifications, so a confirmed order can go to the workshop the same day. Custom work means new dimensions, a new print file or a PMS colour match, and the file has to be checked before anything reaches a printer.

"November is when the phone starts ringing," said Cavey, founder of the company. "Nobody calls in November to argue about ten cents on a flag. They call because their factory told them the schedule is full. We keep room in the line for that. Seven days if it is in the catalogue, fifteen if we have to make something new. And we say it is factory time only, because a buyer who hears seven days and thinks seven days to his warehouse will have a problem in December, and so will we."

Most Christmas enquiries the company handles are for canopy tents, beach flags and backdrop stands, with printed table throws and pop-up banners close behind. Retail chains use them for storefronts and photo areas. Christmas markets tend to order tents and flags together. Event companies are replacing stock that has been through several seasons and no longer holds colour.

Orders do not go through a shopping cart. Buyers send the item, quantity and destination, plus an artwork file or a reference image for custom work, and the sales desk comes back with specification, price and a production date. Artwork support is free and happens before the order, which is why the fifteen days can be counted from a file that is ready to print and not from a sketch.
