The 140th Canton Fair opened on 15 October and runs through 4 November at the Pazhou complex in Guangzhou. The last item is the one worth planning around. Sample proofing means a buyer's own artwork gets printed on the actual substrate — 200-denier nylon for a beach flag, 15oz scrim vinyl for an outdoor banner, 600D Oxford for a canopy — and inspected before anything goes to full production. Colour that looks correct on a monitor has a habit of shifting once it meets fabric, and the only way to settle that question is to hold the printed sample in your hands.What they actually makeEarth Display has been building flags and display hardware since 2009.
